Cancel Culture is a term that is popular from the early 2010s to late 2020s. It refers to a culture in which an individual, company, or group is deplatformed or ostracized because of acting or speaking in a manner that is deemed as offensive.

The term “woke” is derived from African-American Vernacular English. To “be woke” refers to someone who is well informed and alert to social and political issues (especially racial and social justice).

Freedom of Speech is the first amendment in the U.S constitution. It guarantees free expression and free association for individuals and communities. This also means that the government does not have the right to forbid us from saying or writing anything.
